Storytelling, Shakespeare and Drama

Welcome to my website.

If you are looking for a professional storyteller, Shakespeare educator or drama practitioner, look no further.

A professional actor for more than 30 years, I have worked with theatres throughout the UK, including a long association with the highly successful education department at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

I am a professional storyteller, telling tales for primary school age children throughout Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and the East Anglia region.

And since 1993 I have been bringing Shakespeare and other aspects of theatre to
schools, adult education groups, youth theatres and community groups using practical workshops and lively interactive lectures.

On this website you will find details of the wealth of theatre workshops, lectures and stories I can bring to your school or other organisation - all tailored to meet your specific requirements.

You can find out more details of my wide experience on the about me page.  If you have any questions please get in touch - I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

"Thanks to Simon.  His energy and enthusiasm really brought the day to life.  Our students can be         a very tough crowd and Simon's patient indulgence and gentle cajoling of them was much                     appreciated.    My colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and it has given us many, many           teaching tips about    how to bring Shakespeare's language to life in the classroom."  Fortismere           Sixth Form, London

"Last week my 6-year-old and 2-year-old were happily having a pirate sword fight when my 2-year-    old puts her thumb in her mouth, then points to her brother shouting 'I bite my thumb at you'.  Yep,      she enjoyed the awesome Shakespeare workshop as much as the big kids!"  Fantastic Family                Festival  Facebook page
