Drama for all across East Anglia

Welcome to my website.

I have been a professional actor for more than a quarter of a century and since 1993 I have been bringing Shakespeare and other aspects of theatre to schools, adult education, youth theatre and community groups using practical workshops and lively interactive lectures.

I have worked with numerous theatres throughout the UK  including a long association with the highly successful education department at Shakespeare's Globe Theatre.

On this website you will find details of the wealth of theatre workshops and lectures I can bring to your school or other organisation - all tailored to meet  your specific requirements.

You can find out more details of my wide experience in drama workshops on the about me page.  If you have any questions please get in touch - I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

 Testimonials

  • "Thanks to Simon.  His energy and enthusiasm really brought the day to life.  Our students can be a very tough crowd and Simon's patient indulgence and gentle cajoling of them was much appreciated.  My colleagues and I thoroughly enjoyed the day and it has given us many, many teaching tips about how to bring Shakespeare's language to life in the classroom."  Fortismere Sixth Form, London

"Simon has shown the rare ability to utilise his natural acting and communication skills for the particular needs of our groups.......our students are spellbound..........he is a special talent."    John Makey, Foundation for International Education

"We all really appreciated your work.  The staff were impressed with your professionalism and your care of the children and their interests.  We have no hesitation in recommending you to other schools."  Elm Tree Middle School
